What Networker Need to Follow

Networking has been around for just about as long as business, in various shapes and forms.  It can be an extremely effective, low-cost marketing strategy – when done correctly.  Unfortunately, many people lose out simply because they don’t quite know the game.  Don’t miss a great opportunity to boost your business!  For networking success, always follow these simple and steadfast rules of play:
  1. Be genuine & authentic.  People like to do business with people they like, and nobody likes a pretender.  Savvy networkers can spot a false façade a mile away, and they instinctually steer clear.  No matter how great you are, no matter how fantastic your product is, it won’t matter one bit if others feel you may have something to hide.  Always stay true to your personality, represent your business honestly, and build genuine relationships with your fellow networkers.  Authenticity will set you apart and leave a positive impression, which will encourage people to do business with you… instead of your competition.
  2. Listen more than you talk. Have you ever met someone new – at a party, in the grocery store, standing in line for the movies – and they did nothing but talk nonstop about themselves?  Did it make you want to run in the other direction?  When networking, your mission should not be to prove how cool you and your business are.  It should be to find out as much as possible about the person to whom you are speaking, finding a way to make a connection so a relationship can be built.  The next time you meet up, whether it’s at another networking function or in person one-on-one, you should at least have some talking points so you can pick the conversation back up and continue building the relationship.  Good networking relationships lead to trust, and trust leads to business.
  3. Bring only five business cards to any function.  There are many experts who will disagree with this way of thinking.  However, if you have ever attended a typical networking event and walked away with a stack of cards, you’ll recognize some truth in what I’m saying here.  Thinking of that stack of cards, how many of the people behind the cards can you actually remember?  How many did you follow up with? How many did you actually do business with?  For most people, that number is pretty low.  Remember – networking is about building relationships.  Reserve your cards for those people with whom you truly connected and plan on following up with.  It’s always more important to make solid connections with a few, than meaningless connections with many.
  4. Don’t be that guy. You know the one.  He goes around to every person in the room, intrusively of course, and shoves his business card in your hand.  He interrupts your current conversation to tell you who he is and why you need to know him.  And then, before you even have a chance to respond, off he goes to the next unsuspecting victim.  Sound familiar?  Don’t be that guy.
  5. Get on a first-name basis with the event organizer.  I cannot stress this enough: the most important person in the room is the one who brought you all together.  Seek out the organizer (respectfully), strike up a conversation, and make the connection.  A good leader will point you in the direction of some key people he or she feels you should know, and a really good leader will make the introductions personally.  Once he or she knows who you are, what you do, and who you are interested in connecting with, you may even get some great referrals and post-event introductions.  Want to know the best way to cement the relationship?  Reciprocate. Encourage people you know to attend the leader’s events, introduce him or her to potential clients and alliances, and do whatever you can to help support his or her efforts.  A good rule to follow with any networking connection.
The bottom line is simple: Networking is a great tool, and can make a huge impact on your business.  It’s up to you whether that impact is a positive one.

iPad Made of Gold. Anyone ?!

Thinking of buying an iPad, but the $829 price tag for the top model strikes you as a touch too plebeian? UK-based luxury gadget designer Stuart Hughes has come to the rescue with a solid gold, diamond-encrusted version of Apple’s “magical” and “revolutionary” tablet.
The price is £129,995, or approximately $189,125, for a 3G iPad with 53 flawless diamonds on the Apple logo and a casing of solid 22ct gold. Even if you’re willing to dish out this much money for a tablet, keep its weight in mind — the device is 2.1kg, or approximately 4.4 pounds, due to all of that gold.

This Virtual App is Child's Play : New Jersey eight-year-old Joey Hudicka is selling an iPhone app.

This time i like to share about a story of eight year old kid in USA. He is selling ihpone apps.. i wonder how are we able to culcate our kids to have that kind of speciality.!!

Eight-year-old Joey Hudicka's parents always knew he had a bit of the entrepreneur in him. He once tried to sell them seashells on a family vacation. But they never would have guessed he would create a going software venture before he reached the third grade.
With some encouragement (OK, and several thousand dollars) from his parents, Joey created an iPhone game he named Puckz, a combination of hockey and checkers. He hired a firm in India to develop the software and oversaw every detail of the game's design from his Flemington, New Jersey, bedroom.
Kids like Joey may soon be making their marks all over the App Store, says Larry Rosen, author of Rewired: Understanding the iGeneration and the Way They Learn. "This is the first generation that has grown up with ubiquitous anytime, anywhere technology," he says. "Anything they can think of should be doable."
Puckz hasn't exactly been a bestseller since it debuted in March. "At first, I didn't even know it launched," says Joey. "I searched hockey games, and it was all the way at the bottom, which stunk." But the game has started to catch on via Facebook, selling about 800 downloads at 99 cents a pop. His second app, Goalz, a soccer version of the game, has sold about 100 downloads. Says Joseph Hudicka Sr., Joey's father: "This is the modern-day lemonade stand."

COCONUT WATER: Is coconut water just another trend in the healthy beverage market?

First came vitamin-enhanced water, then açai juice. Is coconut water the next big health-drink fad? Michael Kirban and Ira Liran sure hope so. The pair, friends from college, got the idea to sell coconut water after they learned about the drink from two young Brazilian women they met at a bar in New York City in 2003. (Liran eventually married one of them.) Today, Kirban and Liran's company, Vita Coco, controls nearly 70 percent of the $30 million -- and growing -- U.S. market for coconut water.
Not long ago, coconut water was all but unheard of in the U.S. Now, Vita Coco has some stiff competition. Zico, a Hermosa Beach, California, company launched in 2004, counts Coca-Cola as a backer. And Pepsi recently acquired Brazilian coconut-water maker Amacoco.
One retailer Kirban and Liran approached early on declared Vita Coco tasted like "sock water." But today, 12,000 retail locations, including many Whole Foods and Safeway outlets, sell the electrolyte-rich drink, which is promoted as a sort of natural Gatorade. Vita Coco's revenue climbed from $8 million in 2008 to more than $20 million in 2009. "People really get hooked on this stuff," says Kirban.

How to Make Fast Money Online as a Blogger?

Do you own a Blog? Great job, this means that you are the owner of a valuable asset. A Blog is your Business and your are its CEO. Many Blogs such as TechCrunch and Huffingtonspost are worth literally over $ 50 Million in their valuations.
By Blogging you can make quick money online by these 2 methods:

01) By implementing various income streams on the same blog -
The main advantage of owning a blog is that you can apply multiple income streams on the single blog – such as advertising, affiliate marketing, sponsored reviews, paid reviews, sponsored events, and many many more concepts. However, to make money fast from your blog you have to first make your blog large in size. Then and only then will it attract more web traffic and you will make more money.

02) By Selling your Blog -
This is the fastest way to make money online from you blog. Within just 2-3 years you can make a fortune if you want. Developing a blog from scratch is hard work that requires hours and hours of daily mind work for several months. Not only that, but also a lot of social network build up as well.
Now, many Businesses and companies want to own a Blog in their desired Niche, but they don’t want to put that many hours of hard work into it. So what do they do? They simply acquire an already established blog. Say for Example; take the example of this Blog. This is a Personal Growth to a Wealthy Lifestyle Blog and many people are interested in the value it can bring onto others. And if they acquire this Blog, they can reach a wider audience … as well as increase their brand value.
That being said, if you sell your blog, then you will also lose control over this asset in exchange for a lot of money. Many Bloggers around the world have made fortunes by selling their blogs. The famous Example is, The Blog Bankaholic.com was acquired by The BankRate.com for Whooping $ 15 Million back in 2008.
And the founder of Bankaholic.com is only in his early thirties. He made that fortune within just 3 years of starting his blog.
Do you see the importance of starting early? Check out my Treasure section to get you up and running on the right track.

Entrepreneurship: 50 Brilliant Ideas You Can Execute Upon Right Now

When most people think of entrepreneurship, they think of dot com startups, well funded franchises and other such complex and expensive sounding ventures. The truth is, however, you don’t have to have a lot of money, or a special skill, to start a business. Just to prove the point, we’ve come up with fifty simple, easy to execute ideas that you can use today, with very little investment, to start your road to entrepreneurship.

So, without further ado, here are the fifty simplest entrepreneurship ideas we can come up with:

  1. Start a window washing business. A bucket, some detergent, and a long handled squeegee and you’re in business. Market your service to homeowners and businesses – after all – everyone hates doing windows!
  2. Do you have a computer and a printer? Put together a weekly or monthly newsletter for your area, and sell advertising space in it to local businesses.
  3. Garden service businesses always work well, and are cheap to start if you already have a lawnmower and other tools.
  4. Start a company that services and maintains pools in your area. Most people will already have most of the equipment you need, like nets, vacuums and other items, so your only real outlay will be chemicals and test kits.
  5. Offer a design and print service for calendars, postcards and other marketing materials for small businesses. With print on demand companies now offering printing of just about any quantity, you can start this business with nothing more than a computer and some desk top publishing software.
  6. Start a personal shopping service. Plenty of people are too busy to shop for themselves, so do it for them!
  7. Research affiliate marketing, and start marketing other people’s products online.
  8. If you’re good at sewing, offer a repair and alteration service in your community.
  9. Love cooking? Collect a few of your favorite easy recipes and create a recipe booklet, or even self publish your book, and sell it.
  10. People’s cars always need washing. Offer a car wash service at people’s homes.
  11. If you like woodwork, you can start a cheap and eco friendly business to turn old wooden pallets into household items, or even furniture.
  12. If you’re really great with computers, hire yourself out as a freelance IT technician. People will always need someone to help them with computer related things, and if you’re good at it, why not get paid?
  13. Collect old clothes together and cut them up. Use the remnants to create patchwork cushions or other household items.
  14. Start an ironing service. No one likes ironing, so they’re sure to pay you to do it!
  15. If you live in a large city, offer your services as a freelance messenger. Use a moped to deliver packages and documents quickly in traffic, and to make parking easier!
  16. Start a sandwich delivery business, which services all the office blocks in your area.
  17. Offer a packing service. People are always moving home, and many rent their own trucks to save money. No one likes packing though, so offer them a cheaper alternative to professional movers.
  18. If you have a vacuum cleaner, cleaning products, mops and brooms, you can start a cleaning service for local businesses.
  19. If you’re good at selling, why not offer your services to local businesses as a freelance sales representative.
  20. Start a dating service or singles club in your community. There are plenty of people out there who would love to meet new people, but have no idea where to start.
  21. If you’re passionate about something, whether it’s fishing or dog training, start a blog. Run Adsense and sell a few products through your site.
  22. Buy and sell second hand or vintage clothing. You may need to clean or repair older pieces, but vintage clothes are big news!
  23. If you love photography, and it’s your hobby, offer your services as a special occasion or family portrait photographer.
  24. Find magazines that cater to your interests, and write and sell articles to them.
  25. Start a business cleaning computers. Computers that gather dust tend not to last, and most businesses have plenty that could do with a good cleaning.
  26. Start a business that offers children’s party planning and catering. Create a few fun themes, and charge a setup fee, and a fee per head.
  27. Start a dog grooming service, where you pick up and collect. Start off with bathing, clipping nails and flea treatments, and progress to haircuts and other services when you’ve built up the capital.
  28. Offer your services as a professional house sitter, taking care of houses whose owners are away.
  29. Make and sell wooden children’s toys. These could be as simple as off cuts of wood turned into blocks and painted in bright colors.
  30. Source cheap computer accessories, like flash drives, CD’s and DVD’s and other small items, and sell them door to door in your local business district.
  31. Make and sell hand crafted beaded jewelry.
  32. Start a catering company that uses your client’s own kitchens to prepare special occasion meals. Market it to single guys or busy moms, and you’re sure to find plenty of business!
  33. Start a typing or data capturing service, and offer it to local law firms and medical practitioners.
  34. If you’re super organized, and like organizing for other people, become an organizing consultant.
  35. Create and sell a correspondence course on any topic you can think of. It’s best to choose something you know really well, but if you research anything well enough, you should be able to produce a quality course.
  36. Spend some time online researching soap making and how to make bath products – there are plenty of sites that offer simple recipes. Then create a range of luxury hand made products with added herbs and other ingredients. Market to the public, as well as guesthouses and other accommodation establishments.
  37. Buy old, unwanted furniture, and revive it. Strip off old paint and apply new finishes, reupholster worn seats, and add new hardware, and that old junk will become designer chic.
  38. Create and illustrate several children’s stories, then offer parents the opportunity to have these customized with their children’s names.
  39. Design and create special gifts for newborns. These could be personalized baby blankets, or hampers with a range of baby products. Leave flyers at the reception of your local doctors’ offices, maternity hospitals and similar places, or advertise in your local newspaper and on community notice boards.
  40. Start a bicycle repair business. Most kids will have a flat tire or a snapped chain at some point. Offer your services to repair them, or sell spares.
  41. Create and market fabric painting kits with pre drawn designs, instructions, paint and brushes.
  42. Offer a spreadsheet design service that creates custom spreadsheets for small businesses.
  43. Start a labor-only handyman service – homeowners buy their own materials, and they simply pay you for your time.
  44. Find a local hall, and hire it. Then plan a special event, such as a dinner dance, a fancy dress party or a networking event. Partner with a local charity, and sell tickets to the event.
  45. Start a sourcing service. Offer to find anything for small businesses, and resell to them at a markup. Many companies look for obscure products and services, and don’t have the time to source them themselves.
  46. Start a plant care service. Offer to water and prune indoor and outdoor plants for people who are too busy, or on holiday. The same service can be offered for tropical fish.
  47. Research, create, and market your own herbal remedies blends. You could create calming teas, flavored oils or scented sprays for home use.
  48. If you live in an area where there are mosquitoes, buy ordinary mosquito nets, and beautify them with beads, ribbons and other decorations. Then sell designer mosquito nets.
  49. Create and sell sushi making kits. Buy bamboo sushi mats, knives, small bowls and soy and wasabi, package them with sushi making instructions and sell them at markets or through mail order.
  50. If you have a sewing machine with an embroidery function, offer to embroider corporate logos and other designs onto plain caps, shirts and other items. Offer to sell the plain items too.
These are just a few of the millions of cheap ideas for entrepreneurship that are out there. If you sit down for a short while, and think about your interests and talents, you’re sure to come up with plenty more to add to this list. The truth is, entrepreneurship need not be hard or expensive. It can be something super simple – as long as it’s a product or service that people need. So spend some time finding your big idea, and then go for it!

BURGER GRILL

Last nite, i've got the chance to try the latest recipe in town, THE BURGER GRILL.  For the first time i taste the burger and agreed that this recipe is so much better than the one sold at Franchise Fast Food. Comparing the price, quality and taste, everyone would agree with me.
I have heard about this menu and received  SMS from friends to promote the business.
Having sold at few outlet, i came to one of outlet at the road site of Jalan Astana (RPR). The service is outstanding in which you need not to worry of the waiting time for the order to complete and it is still hot and tasty.
Based on the information from the seller, the minced meat of the menu are self home made processed.
Definitely the branding of this recipe have recieved a good response eventhough it is just a burger but only the way it is  grilled compare to the ordinary steel plate way of cooking.
The entrepenuership skill has brought this common menu to another level and branding makes the menu receive good response from the people. It has also 'allow' the seller to put higher price compare to the ordinary one. For a piece of burger you can get as low as RM4.50 and RM6.50 for Jumbo size.
Get some bite and comment.. you would not regret.
