Okay, i wish to share to all of you who are planning to visit Kuching Sarawak. Since it is raining almost every day ( i mean really rainsss) here is the most useful things you must have n bring along.
1. UMBRELLA
Very useful to you thru night and day as you are experiencing rain most of the time. As much as possible find the big umbrella as the rain is heavy and often. Advice to you, bring 2 umbrellas as the second umbrella you can borrow to other people especially to the elder. They would really appreciate your kindness.
2. RAINCOAT
If you are not friendly with umbrella, get ready with the rain coat. Most men prefer raincoat. Raincoat will help you walk free with out worry to hold anything and gives you more time to spend with rains. Well you can ride bicycle, motorbikes, kayak or even just walking. You can get the disposable raincoat which made available at Watson, Guardian or 7Eleven. I think men looks cool with raincoat. I bought one black raincoat few days ago.Made in China with RM 9.90 plus cap. Try with yellow raincoat because it helps people to recognise you as a DIGI mascot.. hhaha,
3. Plastic Bag
You might ask why plastic bag? Simply because you might need to put your valuable items like wallet, cellphone to keep it dry. You may need them to put your handkerchief or small towel for you to dry yourself. Isn't it useful? My advice is do not throw your plastic bag away and please recycle. It is useful in other way. Try new fashion statement in which put on your head with the plastic bag to cover it. Do not make the drain clog and full with plastic bag. You can create environmental disaster.
4. Slipper.
Slipper is not slippery! But slipper is better than shoes or leather boots. It is simple,amphibian and dry easily. Furthermore it is cheap and comfortable.
5. The last item is the most difficult that i can think of. Maybe you guys can think of what you may need to bring because one need is different to another. Ah Boon may need different item than Silva and Marcos may need different things than Mahathir. Mahathir may need baseball cap and Najib may bring paracetamol or Panadol to heal his headache. Samy Vellu may need boat rather than bicycle to move from one place to another. Well. it is for you guys to choose but please be reminded that Kuching is wet and slippery. I have read one article and it says, anyone who thinks that sunshine is happiness has never danced in the rain. Enjoy the wet days ..
